Distance Learning Resources You Don’t Want to Miss
It’s no secret that teachers are missing the traditional classroom.
Many of you have had to completely adapt your classrooms to incorporate some form of distance learning this school year and it’s been tricky.
And as teachers, you are flexible. You adapt to whatever setting you are in and continue to teach your students the best you can. Teachers are resilient. You will work through the obstacles and continue marching toward our student’s learning goals.
But it’s no secret that the transition to distance learning has been a difficult one.
As teachers, we thrive in our classrooms. We love the hustle and bustle of the students, the rustling of papers, and the wide-eyed wonder of our students being shown a brand new concept.
For many students, teachers, and families, distance learning has become essential to help ensure we all return to the classroom we love healthy and whole, and hopefully in the near future.
I know many of you have been struggling to find distance learning resources that will work for your classroom, so I want to share my all time favorite and simple distance learning resources you can use for your kids.
The Fully Editable Tab Book Template for Distance Learning
This editable Google tab book template is a must-have when it comes to distance learning resources.
I actually used this template to make the tab book for my Fingerprint Detective project for teaching the scientific method. So many teachers loved the format they requested a blank template that could be adapted to any lesson in any classroom. Of course, I had to help them out.
The digital version is fully adaptable and editable so it’s easy for teachers to create lessons and it’s easy for students to use for completing their lessons.
Teachers just love that they can use this for any subject.
The template is completely editable in Google Slides and then functions as a digital, clickable tab booklet in “present” mode.
As a template, it’s pre-loaded with text boxes and editable areas that are ready for you to add your content. AND you can use it over and over for unlimited long-distance lessons. Here’s what you get:
· Create the number of tabs you need (from four to ten)
· The tabs are editable and can be labeled with lesson-specific information
· Text boxes are pre-made and editable
· Boxes with the directions are editable too
· Add your own links, clip art, images, and content
· Use it for any subject and/or topic
· Works with Google slides
