Earth Day Activity for Kids
Earth Day is a great way to introduce kids to taking care of the earth! This activity helps students learn to reduce, reuse, and recycle! This Earth Day activity for kids in the classroom is the perfect craft to teach students about the importance of the Earth! The hand print craft looks great on an Earth Day bulletin board too!
How to use this Earth Day activity in the classroom:
I love this flip flap because it only uses ONE page of paper per student! Talk about perfect for Earth Day! You can pair this activity with any Earth Day book too. I love having my students research using Pebblego online because they are able to independently read the passages with the option to have it read aloud to them too!

This Earth Day activity for students also helps kids practice their writing skills and allows them to show their creativity! The hand print craft is also an easy craft for students! They love comparing how big or small their hands are and then we get to practice what we learned about recycling and reusing as we decide what to do with the scrap paper!
