Valentine's Day Writing Activity

Valentine’s Day Writing Activity

Having a fun Valentine’s Day Writing activity is so much fun. It’s an easy way to celebrate this fun holiday while having the children work on their writing skills, too. When you can combine learning with a fun theme, everyone wins!

This is also a great positivity and writing Valentine’s Day Writing activity, too. It will have the children think about things that they love and that are “sweet” and let them write them out to share.

So often we get in a learning rut where we’re just not teaching anything new…and when that happens, it’s fun Valentine’s Day writing activities like this one that can pull everyone out of that rut and bring some fun back into learning.

Be certain to check out this Donut Bulletin Board to give the kids something fun and exciting to do. They’ll love having their own sheets to work on and the donut theme is just the icing on the cake.

Donut Bulletin Board Writing Activity

We always love doing activities that let everyone write what they want and showcase off their thoughts and skills. And then once everyone in the class writes out their part, you can have them hang them up on the bulletin board for everyone to see.

I’m also a huge fan of the fact that this writing activity is great for preschoolers up to grade 6. (and if you’re a homeschooler, this is a fun thing that you can do with the kids every year and compare it from one year to the next)

How to use this Valentine’s Day Writing Activity

The beauty of this writing activity is that it’s really simple to use.

All you have to do is print and let the kids share why they love the grade they are in! This is a time for them to be creative and work on the writing skills that they’ve been learning, too.

And as a fun sweet treat to bring it all together, you could even have a donut class party to go right along with the theme!
