Classroom Routines and Procedures Checklist for Back to School
Back to school time can get a little chaotic. There are so many rules and procedures that need to be taught that first week of school and it can be hard to keep track of what has and hasn’t been taught yet. In elementary school especially, it is so important to create clear expectations and routines that 1st week of school.
How to use a Classroom Behavior Checklist:
In order to keep track of the rules and expectations that have been taught, I created a checklist that could be used from year to year. I write down every single routine I need to teach and check them off once they have been taught and retaught.
This is perfect for specials teachers who teach multiple classes a day as well as teachers who rotate students throughout the school day.
Another great idea is to laminate the classroom procedure checklist and use it from year to year!
